About the Food Bank for Westchester
The Food Bank for Westchester is the backbone of the county's emergency food distribution network, providing 95% of all food used by 227 frontline hunger-relief programs including food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters and residential programs to feed the hungry. Last year, the Food Bank distributed over seven million pounds of food to help feed the estimated 200,000 Westchester children, seniors and their families who are hungry or at risk of hunger.
The mission of the Food Bank for Westchester is to lead, engage and educate Westchester County in creating a hunger free environment.
