Local supermarkets are hosting the annual Check-Out Hunger campaign to support Food Bank for Westchester. Participating supermarkets/dates: 

  A&P - through January 29

  Balducci's - through December 31
  Fairway Market - through January 16
  Pathmark - through January 29
  ShopRite - through January 1 

Help fight hunger by removing a Check-Out Hunger donation slip from the display at the checkout counter and handing it to the clerk. The $1, $3 or $5 slip has a product code (UPC) and the amount will be added to your shopping bill. For every $1 you give, the Food Bank can purchase $4 worth of food.  

D'Agostino's To Sell
"Feed the Kids" Bundles
Shop at a D'Agostino's Supermarket and purchase a Feed the Kids food bundle for only $7.99 to feed a hungry child. The bundle contains Parmalat Fat-Free Milk, Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup, Skippy Creamy Peanut Butter, and a can of Campbell's Pork/Beans EZ Open. The Feed the Kids drive runs from Sunday, December 12 through Sunday, December 26. All the food bundles will be distributed to hungry children through the Food Bank's BackPack Program.D'Agostino's 3 Westchester locations: Chappaqua: 411 King St., 10514

This very special annual event will be here before you know it! February 11 is just about the corner. The five-course dinner is created especially for the evening by Alison Awerbuch, Partner and Executive Chef, Abigail Kirsch Catering Relationships. The wines accompanying the five courses are generously donated by Pernod Ricard. The evening will also feature a raffle and live auction of "unobtainable" items and experiences. Save the date!

Here's a great way to save money this holiday season while taking advantage of deals from local businesses and supporting the Food Bank. will donate five percent of its online coupon sales through December 31 to Food Bank for Westchester. All you have to do is register online with to begin getting news of exclusive bargains from local restaurants, retail establishments and other businesses. The deals are offered for a limited time and the savings can be anywhere from 50% to 95% off retail prices. Any deals you take advantage of will automatically benefit the Food Bank.
