You are invited to join the Food Bank in celebrating the Grand Opening of the new, larger warehouse. Grammy-award-winning singer Tom Chapin will perform and News 12 Westchester News Director Janine Rose will emcee. Come help the Food Bank celebrate this larger space that will allow us to get more food out to more hungry people now and well into the future.

A friendly competition among corporate teams to win the coveted Golden Scoop trophy! This spirited event pits corporate teams against one another repacking the most food in an hour. The winning team will take possession of the Golden Scoop troply, which is awarded with great fanfare at the annaul Hunger Heroes Awards Breakfast. The award will be proudly displayed for the next 12 months at the winning team's corporate offices. Don't miss this opportunity to "go for the gold" and bring awareness to the problem of hunger in Westchester.

7th ANNUAL HUNGER HEROES AWARDS BREAKFAST

This annual event honors a Service Provider, a Volunteer, a Donor and a local Corporation who have had major impacts in the fight against hunger. Their combined efforts make it possible for children and families in Westchester County to survive as they move toward self-sufficiency. This breakfast event also features the presentation of the Golden Scoop trophy to the winning team of the Give-Back Olympics 2012. The breakfast takes place at the beautiful Tappan Hill Mansion in Tarrytown, an Abigail Kirsch location.
